As the newly elected president of the Southern California Chapter, I am pleased to welcome you to our web site.  If you are already a chapter member, I thank you for your support in the recent election and if you are a non-member, I thank you for your interest.  To you I say congratulations on finding our web site and we're really pleased that you have.  For some of us, ending up exactly where we want to be in the limitless mysteries of the Internet is not an easy task and is worthy of recognition in itself.

We are proud of our new web site, which, incidentally, was designed and installed entirely by our own chapter member volunteers.  I hope you take the time to view all of the information about our association. Please take the time to read Bev Petty’s “about” feature in this site to get a better feel for our organization. From this piece alone you can get a feel for the character and spirit of our club. We have about four rallies a year (see our home page, rally calendar) and we would like all of our members to  try and attend at least one chapter rally a year, so we can all get to know one another.          

If you enjoy travel, if you can appreciate good food shared with others in delightful social settings, if you like sharing ideas and opinions with others having common interests and lastly, (and certainly not least) if you value good entertainment and recreation, you are invited to look seriously into the benefits of ACA, SoCal Chapter membership. You will be pleased that you did.  Charlie (I call him ‘honey’) and I have made a lifetime of new and dear friends since joining and it has made a significant change in our lives for the last 10 years.          

 Our Chapter is hosting the National Rally coming up on Nov. 10-15, 2008, in Tucson, Ariz.  This is truly a major event and we are soliciting all Southern California Chapter members to participate as we host our entire national organization.  It will be lots of fun, with great food, great entertainment and of course, American Coach’s crew, led by Randy, will be there fixing things on our coaches for free.  On top of all that, we will get to see old friends and meet new ones.  Anyone who registers before September 10, 2008, will get a discount of $25.00, plus have their name entered in a drawing for a $150.00 diesel fuel card.  If you can only attend one rally this year, make it the National Rally in Tucson!
