The Southwest Chapter (Bill & Kim Dettmer) are hosting a Rally in Alamogordo, New Mexico from April 4th thru 7th. When we have the details for this rally, I will pass them along.
Bob Clapper is planning a Rolling Rally for our trip to the National Rally. He is still working on the details so please block out about 5 days prior to the National for this fun trip.

Hello my fellow So Cal and all ACA members, I am Bob Clapper. I am honored to have the opportunity to take the position of President of the So Cal ACA after serving as the Vice President for the last year and a half.
I am filling some big shoes as I take over from the past two presidents Debbie Darby and Pat Adams who both are outstanding role models and an inspiration to me. I hope to have a similar impact on our chapter’s success.
My wife Becky and I are the proud owners of our 5th American Coach. We started with a 2000 Dream and we have never looked back. We have two daughters and 5 grandchildren that also enjoy the RV Life. My Daughter Brianne Brissette and her family are also proud owners of an American Eagle.
We have been ACA members since 2003. Since we joined, we have enjoyed most all local rallies each year and many national rallies each year as well.
We try to never miss an opportunity to use our coach. And we certainly don’t want to miss an opportunity to visit with all the great friends we have made with the ACA.
Over the last 11 years or so we have built many great memories that are truly priceless as a result of being part of the ACA and more specifically the So Cal Chapter.
We are working hard to keep the reputation up that “So Cal is the Most Fun Chapter of all the ACA chapter”. So please don’t hesitate to join us on any of the So Cal rallies.
So Cal has averaged 3 or 4 chapter rallies per year and also leads a rolling rally to the national rallies each year. I truly hope we can provide an opportunity for you to join us in the near future. My only question to you as members is what would you like see and help plan next. If you come up with the next idea, I will do my best to make it happen with your help and the help of others.
Don’t hesitate to contact me with any ideas, thoughts, concerns or constructive critiques you may have.
It’s all about the journey, adventure and having fun!
Bob and Becky Clapper
